The controversy about vaccines has been in thousands of medical journals for easily three decades. We had presentations about the dangers when I was in Nursing school in the early 70’s.
It appears that you have no direct experience with Michael Austin, who is in fact a Doctor of Chiropractic, not a masseuse as you state.
A gentle warning may be in order here…. as your comments are very close to slander and libel.

Our primary Chiropractic doctor is John Keifer, who is highly skilled. Austin has some unique skills of which the efficacy is determined by results. The combination of both of these men has made for some very fine results.

I see you all think Michael Austin is a real “healer” as some of you attest. Wish I could see some of your faces. Or Austin’s. Would any of you not give your children or grandchildren vaccines because Michael Austin doesn’t believe in polio vaccine. I don’t know if this is a real “blog” or just an advertisement for this idiot, at any rate, I’m beginning to believe he isn’t even real. On facebook where I first found him today, he told lie after lie, and gave his opinion that the polio vaccine was not needed. I still can’t figure how a masseuse is qualified to give polio vaccine advice. Or any real medical advice. Anyone with such backward views on something so important,should they really be “treating” anyone ?

Well thank you. I will be seeing Michael next week and will be sure he sees this message. He is indeed a rare talent. When you get up off the table and feel like flying, I guess that is called healing of sort!

I can attest to the amazing improvements in all aspects of my health because of the “hands on” treatments from Dr. Austin. Bowen therapy is terrific and I have had treatments from other Bowen practitioners, but Michael is a “healer”. He has wonderful training (chiropractic, and other) so that he has an indepth knowledge of the body – his treatments are gentle, painless, amazingly relaxing and they work. And, he is one delightful, honest, ethical, and down-to-earth practitioner/doctor. You will do yourself a favor (if you can get an appointment) if you put yourself in his hands. Go for it!!

We (my wife and I) were first introduced to Bowen Therapy and Dr. Austin by an MD who recommended she try it following sympathetic nerve trunk injections for pain due to RSD (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy) in a toe. She found Dr. Austin’s treatment extremely beneficial and effective (plus he is such a genuinely nice person). She goes back occasionally for re-treatment if there are new or suspected issues with the toe. Her success prompted me to utilize it for various lower back, knee and other pains (some of which stared during military service and have increased with age). It was amazing how much improvement resulted. After the initial treatment the feeling during detoxification was amazing. Improvement was evident immediately after the initial treatment and subsequent treatments resulted in continued improvement. My opinion is that this treatment is superior to traditional chiropractic treatment and it should only be performed by a qualified Bowen Therapy Practitioner, such as Dr. Austin.

Chiropractic Care may be a better method to solve nerve, muscle and skeletal problem if your chiropractor be an expert and skilled. Actually this treatment method is not a treatment method to practice for all. So, be aware about the experience and skill of your chiropractor.
