I’m not sure what response you expected by reprinting this story about the Ripp family.    It sounds like they’re having a hard time.  Well, the people who have the Republican boot on their necks are having a very hard time, too.  And there’s not much room for debate with a man who likens unions to the mafia and a minimal social safety net to socialism.  Hard to be sympathetic.
