Today is Labor Day, and I hope you all had a great weekend. Now we’re heading into the fall events and holidays and of course the Dinner in Honor of Arizona Vietnam Veterans on October 5 at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort. It is only $45.00 for a double entre at a top notch hotel, and this year General Anthony Zinni will be our guest speaker. We will also be honored to have Major General Le who was the South Vietnamese commander at the battle of Xuan Loc, one of the last major engagements in Vietnam. We will honor our Arizona Vietnam veterans AND the Vietnamese service members who fought for their country against Communist aggression. For those of you who already sent in your RSVP with a check or are otherwise committed, thank you; but many who I know plan to attend have not sent back the RSVP and check, yet. Some tables were bought and I still need the names of those sitting at those tables ASAP as the event is a month away. I have to give the head count around the end of the month. If you have told your friends about the event, make sure they have THIS year’s invitation AND the RSVP so I can record the names of the attendees. Attached are the docs for the event and info relating to the Vietnam War. If you have any questions, call me at 520-868-6777.

Joe

We have a table of ten of which 7 seats are taken. If you elect to attend and want to join us, just put Mic Brewer on your RSVP.
