Veteran Veriatas has been on sabbatical in California for the last three weeks. I have been collecting data on SB #1070. I miss all the fans at TC.com. Will be back in town and flying my desk on Sunday morning; just in time for Sand Jam at Hotel Congress. See you there. Mike

Sand Jam was a superb and respectful event. Nice touch to have the Marine Corps Color Guard. And the bugler playing taps from the roof of the Hotel Congress was very powerful. Our favorite band was the V-Knights with the two 10 year old boys and always love Steel Ribbon with Nam Vet Jim Randall. Hope this event becomes a permanent Memorial Day concert–it was done right.
